No, conditions that existed at the time of arranging the air ticket and purchasing the insurance will not be covered. See the Policy Document for the full definition of what is a pre-existing medical condition. 

The Policy covers quarantine costs for positive Covid-19 diagnosed cases. Quarantine expenses due to COVID-19 are covered up to 14 days / up to $100 per day. 

Quarantine is not covered if a confirmed Covid-19 diagnosis has not been provided. 

Trip cancellation due to COVID is not covered, only medical expenses and quarantine are covered. 

If you need urgent medical assistance please contact the assistance centre using the telephone numbers shown on your Certificate of Insurance and policy document. If you need to register a claim you may request a claim form by email to [email protected]. 

Claims will be processed within 10 working days after you submit all the required information along with the claim form. 

Yes, for one-way journeys, the policy will cover you for up to 48 hours after your arrival at your final Jazeera destination, provided this is outside of your country of residence. 

Yes, the amount will be refunded by Jazeera Airways at the time the flight ticket is refunded. 

The insurance is non-refundable in all other cases.

Direct billing of medical emergency expenses can be arranged by Europ Assistance if the insured is treated in one of the medical facilities part of the Europ Assistance medical network. You must contact the Emergency Assistance number immediately to be guided by the team to the right medical facility / specialists. 

Children aged from three months to 18 years old at the time of booking, provided they are travelling with an insured adult, will pay 50% of the adult premium. 

You should review the policy document to ensure the cover meets your needs. The policy provides coverage in case of unforeseen circumstances that may force you to cancel or shorten your trip or seek emergency medical treatment while travelling. There is also coverage for other eventualities including loss or delay of your baggage, trip delay and personal accident. Full details of the coverage can be found in the policy document.

In this case, you cannot extend the policy date as the travel has already commenced. 

Customers of Jazeera Airways travelling to Kuwait or Kuwait residents travelling outside of Kuwait, aged between 3 months and 80 years old. 

Residents of the following countries, as well as travelling to, from and through the following countries are excluded: Russia, Crimea and the Donetsk and Luhansk Regions, Belarus, Syria, Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, Afghanistan and Burma / Myanmar.

This medical assistance service, is provided by Europe Assistance, directly or by means of its affiliates and network, on behalf of Gulf Insurance & reinsurance Company, operates on 365 days, 24/7 basis. 

This travel insurance is provided under a Master Policy by Gulf Insurance & Reinsurance Company, a subsidiary of Gulf Insurance Group. Medical assistance services are provided by Gulf Assist, a member company of Europ Assistance, that is part of the Generali Group. 

Yes, provided that the diagnosis is made within the period of insurance.
