At Inspire, we are committed to delivering a seamless and dignified travel experience for every customer. Our Special Assistance services ensure comfort, safety, and personalized care throughout your journey.
If you require clarification or have unique needs not covered below, our dedicated customer support team and local Inspire offices are ready to assist you.
1. Unaccompanied Minors (UM)
1.1 Service Overview
- Continuous supervision from check-in to handover at destination.
- Trained Inspire representative assists through security and boarding.
- Cabin crew monitors child’s comfort during flight.
- Escort through immigration and baggage collection upon arrival.
1.2 Eligibility Requirements
Children aged 5–12 years may travel unaccompanied on direct Inspire flights. Children under 5 must travel with an adult aged 12+ seated nearby.
1.3 Capacity Limitation
Maximum of 8 unaccompanied minors per flight.
1.4 Country-Specific Requirement
For flights departing Egypt, passengers under 18 years travelling alone must obtain prior clearance from immigration authorities.
2. Travel With Infants
2.1 Age Definition
Infants must be at least 14 days old and below 2 years of age on travel date.
2.2 Seating Requirements
- Infants may travel on the lap of an adult passenger.
- Birth certificate required at check-in.
- One infant per adult (16+ years).
2.3 Multiple Infants
Additional infants require a separate ticketed seat and an aviation-approved car seat.
3. Attendant and Companion Requirements
Inspire does not provide dedicated in-flight attendants for passengers needing continuous personal or medical assistance. Certain passengers must travel with a capable companion.
3.1 When a Personal Companion Is Required
- Significant visual or hearing impairments preventing safety instruction understanding.
- Cannot independently fasten seatbelt, move from seat, operate emergency exits, don life jacket or oxygen mask.
- Require assistance with eating, medication, toilet use, hygiene, or mobility.
4. Mobility Assistance & Wheelchair Services
4.1 Onboard Accessibility Features
- Movable armrests on selected seats.
- Lavatories with supportive handrails.
- Trained crew for non-medical assistance.
4.2 Pre-Travel Notification
Notify Inspire at least 48 hours before departure for wheelchair assistance.
4.3 Wheelchair Assistance at Terminal T5
- Requests accepted during booking or up to 48 hours before flight.
- Personal mobility equipment allowed where security permits.
- Wheelchairs accepted as checked baggage at no extra cost.
- Battery-powered wheelchairs must meet aviation standards.
5. Pregnant Passengers
5.1 Pre-Travel Medical Guidance
Seek medical approval before booking. Consider stage of pregnancy and health status.
5.2 Medical Documentation
From 28 weeks, a valid medical certificate is required. Travel not permitted beyond 32 weeks + 6 days.
5.3 Certificate Requirements
- Issued within 7 days of travel.
- Include due date, gestational age, fit-to-fly status.
- Doctor’s name, signature, clinic details, and stamp.
6. Assistance for Passengers With Sensory Impairments
- Personalized safety briefings.
- Cabin orientation assistance.
- Guidance during boarding and disembarkation.
- Communication via written or visual formats.
7. General Guidelines for Passengers Requiring Special Assistance
- State assistance needs during booking.
- Provide medical info in advance.
- Arrive early for check-in.
Inspire may decline boarding if documents are incomplete or safety requirements cannot be met.
